HR Generalist

Our client, a well-established international insurance brokerage company is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and people-focused HR Generalist to join its team in Vilnius, Lithuania.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining structured HR administration with employee experience initiatives, training management, recruitment coordination, and continuous process improvement.

We are looking for someone who combines operational precision with a genuine care for people and employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Lifecycle Administration
  • Ensure smooth and compliant employee lifecycle management: onboarding, contractual changes, offboarding, and all HR related documentation
  • Maintain accurate employee data and documentation within HR systems
  • Coordinate internal HR-related processes, policies, approvals, and documentation workflows using digital and electronic signature tools
  • Oversee medical certificates, background checks, mandatory documentation, and occupational safety coordination

Learning & Development

  • Coordinate annual training plans and learning budgets across departments
  • Identify development needs together with managers
  • Organize internal and external trainings, conferences, and learning initiatives
  • Cooperate with training providers and monitor training effectiveness
  • Administer e-learning processes and track mandatory learning completion
  • Coordinate professional licensing and qualification requirements for insurance brokers, including cooperation with external institutions and training hour tracking

Recruitment Coordination

  • Coordinate recruitment processes from hiring request to offer stage
  • Prepare and publish job advertisements in Lithuanian and English
  • Conduct candidate sourcing and initial screening interviews
  • Ensure a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process

HR Processes & Employee Experience

  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of HR processes and internal communication
  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, surveys, feedback collection, and follow-up action plans together with managers
  • Participate in initiatives focused on organizational culture, employee wellbeing, and workplace atmosphere
  • Support compensation and employee benefits administration processes

What We Expect

  • Higher education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in HR role
  • Good understanding of Lithuanian labor law and its practical application
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
  • Analytical mindset and willingness to improve processes
  • Strong communication skills and service-oriented approach
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Excellent Lithuanian and English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Good MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Gross monthly salary range: 2800 – 3300 EUR. Final compensation package will depend on the candidate’s experience, competencies, and overall fit for the role
