Management Development & Consulting

Management development — turning middle managers into a business strength

Our proprietary method, built on many years of practical experience, gives measurable, data-based insight into managerial competence and into a manager's fit with a particular team or organisation.

Middle managers are where strategy either happens or stalls. They are usually promoted for being good at the job they used to do — rarely for being prepared to lead. This programme closes that gap: first we find out where each manager actually stands, then we define what will change results.

How we work

01

Business context

We start with the leadership team: what the company needs from its managers over the next 12–24 months.

02

Assessment

Structured interviews with the manager and with the people around them, plus standardised personality and competence tests adapted for Lithuania. The assessment covers an individual manager or the whole management team.

03

Findings

You get an honest picture, at both group and individual level, with what it means in practice.

04

Action plans

Each manager gets an individual plan with clear KPIs. The company gets a view of priorities.

05

Implementation and follow-up

We stay involved while the plans are put into practice, and we check what actually changed.

Why companies choose Amber Axis

The framework is ours, built on 15+ years of working within management teams — not a licensed off-the-shelf programme.

We assess and evaluate, rather than delivering training and leaving.

Recommendations are written for the business, not for the HR file.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a programme take?

Typically two to four weeks. The main variable is how quickly the managers involved can make time for the interviews and assessments.

Is this training or consulting?

It starts as an assessment, followed by our expert insights and recommendations. What happens next depends on both the organisation and the manager assessed — development without assessment tends to be generic, and assessment without follow-up tends to be forgotten.

What languages do you work in?

Lithuanian and English.

How do you measure whether it worked?

Each action plan carries KPIs agreed with the business at the start, and we review them together at follow-up. KPIs follow the areas to be developed, but often include the real KPIs of the current role — the aim is to grow competencies in the context of the position the manager holds. How much changes also depends on the commitment of the company and of the manager assessed.
