Tech Lead / Senior Backend Developer (.NET)

Our client, Creditinfo Lietuva, the leading credit bureau in Lithuania, established in 2000, is part of the international Creditinfo Group, which operates in over 25 countries across four continents, enabling clients to access Creditinfo services not only in Lithuania but also in other Baltic states and globally.

The company specializes in collecting and analyzing credit information of Lithuanian businesses and individuals. Its services are utilized by commercial banks, credit unions, leasing companies, consumer credit providers, telecommunications firms, and various other businesses and registries. By providing accurate and comprehensive financial data, Creditinfo Lietuva aids clients in making informed decisions, assessing creditworthiness, and managing credit risks.

Background

We are looking for a Tech Lead / Senior Backend Developer (.NET) who combines strong hands-on engineering with architectural ownership. In this role, you will play a key part in designing and evolving backend systems, with a particular focus on integrating and unifying platforms as part of a broader product consolidation.

Alongside development, you will provide technical guidance within a small team, contributing to code quality and engineering practices while remaining primarily focused on building and improving systems.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and analysts to translate complex requirements into stable, efficient backend services that support a growing and evolving product landscape.

What You’ll Do

• Lead backend development using .NET and C#.
• Act as technical lead for a team of developers.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices.
• Participate in technical planning and system design.
• Collaborate with designers, analysts, product managers, and the development team to design and implement new solutions, solve complex problems, and enhance existing features.
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of backend services.
• Drive technical improvements and refactoring initiatives.

What We‘ve Looking For

• 5+ years building and operating backend systems in C#/.NET (Core and Framework).
• 2+ years in a senior or technical-lead capacity, guiding architecture decisions and mentoring others.
• Expert in C#, ASP.NET Core.
• Experience designing distributed or scalable backend systems.
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL Server / PostgreSQL / similar).
• Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Docker Swarm or Kubernetes (advantage).
• Experience with writing and maintaining Unit tests and E2E tests.
• Strong communicator – able to explain complex designs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven collaborator in agile teams (Scrum/Kanban).
• Proactive problem solver: performance tuning, capacity planning, root-cause analysis.
